News from Gstatterboden
Gstatterboden, the former logging settlement, has about 40 residents today. Only the dependance of the former Hotel Gesäuse, now called Gesäuse Lodge, remains from the once-famous hotel. In 2005, the National Park and State Forests established the National Park Pavilion.
Fortunately, since summer 2024, there has been a very dedicated restaurateur there. Thomas Nebl and his team run the house with great attention to detail and have further plans for the future.
Collaboration with the campsite, Gesäuse Lodge, National Park, and State Forests is of utmost importance to him. In winter, he wants to participate in the Advent in the National Park as well as offer Christmas parties at the Pavilion.
