Context: Litti's Radio Show -- Music and Stories

In this special edition of Litti's Radio Show, everything revolves around the context in which music is presented and perceived. Usually, I build stories around two songs in each show, which are sent to me by emerging and established artists*. Additionally, I play their most played track and a song that has never been played before.

But this time, I changed the approach: In nine self-recorded sets, I not only incorporated the submitted songs from the artists*, but also fragments of a previously unreleased interview with the impressive DJ and style icon Frida Iron. In the show, I present three of these sets, where I deliberately took the songs out of their original context and placed them in new contexts. This creates a wild and exciting journey through various genres, showing how strongly the context can alter the effect of the music.

Each track is placed in a new frame: Some songs, which normally stand in the front row, suddenly move into the background, while others, more unusual songs, gain new meaning and space. It’s a game with the context that clearly demonstrates how much the way music is presented influences its understanding.

Join me in this unusual but powerful mix of sound and storytelling. The journey goes through electronic beats and quiet moments, always searching for the right frame for each song.
