Glitter and Grind presents HEISLPAPIER Vol. 1

Glitzer & Grind, the zine publisher we trust from Vienna, has after 2 fantastic releases, presented their latest work on Saturday, 7.12.24, at the Wiener KuKu with a new zine called HEISLPAPIER and the programmatic subtitle "Literature, Subculture, Fun".
And: not too much promised!

At Wiener KuKu, a leftist pub near Linke Wienzeile, the punks gathered to celebrate the release -- with readings, music, a film, and a lot of fun --
Lilly from Radio Helsinki's culture editorial team also got to write and read aloud -- and for you, she also listened and recorded!
We will hear a recording of this fantastic evening today -- but: those who weren't there missed quite a bit, we tried to capture the atmosphere authentically for you #keepingitreal

We hear contributions from Claus Oistric and Lilly Jagl, excerpts from the soon-to-be-published novel by Julia Bassenger, as well as acoustic dialect punk rock by publisher boss Thomas.

Glitzer&Grind have long been known to interested listeners of the cultural news on Radio Helsinki -- we were very happy about the first two releases and reported and read about them gladly -- check out Rokko's Adventures full of sensations & scene reports or the book by punk Claus about punk in Vienna in the 90s.
With the Heislpapier booklet, the publisher has now, in the best DIY style, compiled what is happening in the Austrian subculture scene --

As a little spoiler from Lilly's story: the angriest punk she knows is called Ulli Tramina, who used to have the best underground scene in her venue and broadcasts her waves on Radio Helsinki into the ether.
