S02E04: Disinformation and media propaganda

In the fourth episode of the second series of the podcast SveUratko, we deal with the issues of disinformation and media propaganda, as well as their impact on the European integration of the countries of the Western Balkans. We analyze how the media shape public opinion about the process of EU integration, especially in Serbia, and how manipulations through the media can influence citizens' attitudes towards the EU. In addition to traditional media, digital platforms play a key role in the spread of disinformation, which further complicates democratic processes. We also consider how a series of studies show a growing Euroscepticism in Serbia, and the importance of strengthening media literacy and ensuring impartial reporting. The episode focuses on how the fight against media manipulation must be based on the political will to implement reforms and protect democratic values.
