Anyone who only superficially engages with Picasso knows: He revolutionized 20th-century art like hardly anyone else. However, those who delve deeper into his life encounter a different side of this man. Picasso was, to put it kindly, a bon vivant and womanizer. His treatment of women still raises serious questions today. I have explored these questions and concluded that, from a feminist perspective, I will now withdraw my positive attention from the artist.
