SalzkammerPride 2026

SalzkammerPride took place for the third time this year through the streets of Bad Ischl. We have captured some voices for you, revealing why a rainbow parade "in the countryside" is still important, what it means, and what the respective people expect from the day. Violence Outpatient Clinic Linz

Since January 2026, there has been a violence outpatient clinic at the Kepler University Hospital in Linz. It is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. — it remains closed on Wednesdays.
At the beginning of September, people demonstrated in Linz for a 24-hour violence outpatient clinic. The occasion was the case of Viola. After experiencing sexualized violence, she went public and reported inadequate and discriminatory care in Linz hospitals. Anna Jungwirth and Maximilian Maydl report.

The Social Association B37

The social association B37 is one of the pioneers in homelessness assistance and support for homeless people. In an interview with Melanie Schiller, the managing director Christian Geiseder explains what services B37 offers, what the difference is between homelessness and houselessness, and why climate change is not necessarily bad for all people. This interview also explains what it means to be affected by homelessness. It shows the various reasons why someone might lose their roof over their head and how a path back to a shelter, despite adverse circumstances, can be achieved.
